Hunnic Empire 452 A.D.

This was a famous empire that forced the Roman Empire to give up dominance in Europe. Under the barbaric leader, Attila, the huns invaded much of Europe, forcing the resettlement of Germanic tribes, replaced by the barbarian rulers.  Unfortunately, after Attila's death by nosebleed, the empire fell completely in 454 A.D. due to attacks by their former Germanic vassals. Today, the Empire that was once thought to be brutal, savage, warring, and dark, is now used in video games and magazines about history.
